The base layer that stays tucked in.
Cut longer in the body than standard kids' tanks so it doesn't ride up under shirts, jackets, or snow gear, the Merinosilk Tank is a year-round staple. Wear it under a school shirt on cold mornings, under pyjamas on winter nights, or on its own with shorts when the weather turns. The rib knit stretches with movement and springs back - it won't bunch, twist, or lose its shape through a full day of active wear.
Knit from 70% GOTS certified organic merino wool and 30% silk, the blend regulates body temperature in both directions: warming in cold air, releasing heat when your child is active. The silk adds strength and a smooth surface that layers easily without bulk. Flatlock seams eliminate pressure points under tight-fitting layers or packs.

What is a merino silk base layer for kids?
A merino silk base layer sits next to the skin and regulates body temperature without synthetic fibres. Merino wool warms in cold air and breathes when the child is active; silk adds durability and a smooth surface that reduces friction under outer layers. At 70/30 merino to silk, this blend is soft enough for sensitive skin, strong enough for daily wear, and machine washable - making it a practical alternative to synthetic thermal underlayers.
