A merino layer made with plenty of room for childhood.
Knitted from 100% RWS-certified merino wool, our Hooded Jacket is warm, stretchy and designed to keep fitting as little bodies grow.
The ribbed knit gives the jacket plenty of natural stretch and recovery, while the longer body provides extra warmth, coverage and growing room. Generous proportions mean it can be worn relaxed at first and for seasons to come as your child gets taller.
A long pixie-style hood gives this Nui favourite its distinctive silhouette, while the button-front opening makes layering easy. It's finished with natural corozo buttons made from Tagua nut rather than conventional plastic.
Warm enough to wear as an outer layer on cool days and breathable enough to layer when temperatures drop, merino naturally helps regulate body temperature without the bulk of a heavy jacket.

Why is this merino jacket designed to last longer as kids grow?
The combination of a stretchy rib knit, generous fit and longer body gives children more room to grow than a closely fitted sweater or jacket. Merino wool's natural elasticity also allows the knit to move and recover rather than becoming rigid or restrictive.
Is a merino wool jacket warm enough for kids?
Merino wool is an excellent natural insulator, trapping pockets of warm air within its fibres while still allowing heat and moisture to escape. The result is comfortable warmth without the stuffy feeling or bulk of many heavy synthetic layers.
What are corozo buttons?
Corozo buttons are made from the naturally hard seed of the Tagua palm, often called "vegetable ivory." They're durable, beautifully tactile and give us a natural alternative to conventional plastic buttons.
